As a Product Sales and Services Lead you help our guests have the ultimate mountain experience. You supervise our front line team and ensure our guests receive proficient and personalized service. You have full knowledge of all our ticket, season pass and ski school products and collaborate with the rest of the leadership team in creating a fun and engaged ONE PSS team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Create a fun, respectful and professional environment

  • Have comprehensive understanding of all products, service initiatives and sales processes

  • Ability to effectively communicate dynamic pricing and product offerings to agents and guests

  • Promote, embrace and adhere to Vail Resorts' Mission and Core Values

  • Participate in leadership development opportunities

  • Work on the frontline and support team members at all locations through training and mentoring

  • Be accountable for performance of self and team by coaching PSS agents in a timely manner

  • Handle high volume of guest interaction while delivering exceptional service with a positive attitude

  • Align team to be authentic, effective and efficient while processing sales transactions

  • Professionally assist and follow through with resolution of guest complaints, concerns and suggestions

  • Take initiative to perform duties which facilitate operations while paying attention to detail and maintaining professional work environment

  • Perform other duties as appropriate

Professional Requirements:

  • Passionate about guest service and the hospitality/ski and snowboard industry

  • Be organized, accountable, responsible, and punctual

  • Enthusiastic and engaging personality with exceptional communication skills

  • Ability to develop a quick rapport with internal and external guests

  • Two plus years of guest service experience

  • Previous Vail Resorts experience with PSS RPOS and Guest Connect capability preferred

  • Prior supervisory experience preferred

  • Proficient on Microsoft applications with above average typing skills

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred

  • Aptitude to communicate fluently and effectively in English

  • Ability to stay calm and perform well in busy and stressful situations

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift and carry 25 lbs

  • Able to stand for long periods of time

  • Bend and reach from ground level up to 6' high

  • Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions

This Assistant Store Manager position provides the fun opportunity to assist in managing a high volume retail store with different clothes & equipment that attract a variety of clientele-bases. Assist the Store Manager in writing schedules, ensuring staff is up to date on training, maintain inventory levels, and help guests have a positive experience in each store! Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): * Generate sales, and demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest service * Evaluate sales trends and create methods for sales growth * Manage inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals * Role model and administer company policies and guidelines * Recruit, hire, train, coach, and maintain a quality core staff * Enforce company cash handling policies and procedures, and other loss prevention policies * Provide training resources in POS, product knowledge, guest service, resort information, and sales * Conduct performance appraisals for and coach development of staff on a regular basis * Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards * Communicate ideas or issues with the Regional Manager * Manage operational budget * Remain current on new industry products and trends, and demonstrate knowledge of products * Be energetic, motivated, and possess the ability to multi-task Qualifications: * A minimum of 3 years of retail sales experience - preferred * High school diploma or equivalent - required * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - required * Ability to communicate frequently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English - required * Excellent communications skills both written and verbal * Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task * Familiarity with retail POS system - preferred * Must be a team player and be able to handle fast paced stressful environment * Possess the desire to offer the highest customer service standards to guests Becoming part of the Park City team means you're joining one of the best ski brands in the world.
