Job Description
AECOM has a position available fora Lead Process Piping Engineer to oversee our talented team of piping designers within the Energy practice Engineering Center of Excellence. For this role, AECOM offers the freedom and flexibility to work remotely and/or be located at a variety of Energy offices located in multiple locations across the United States.
Our team provides a wide range of mechanical engineering services across markets sectors including oil and gas - upstream, midstream and downstream refining, industrial processes (chemical, petrochemical, food and beverage), mining/bulk material handling and future and renewable fuels (such as hydrogen, renewable natural gas, biogas, carbon capture).
We are looking for an enthusiastic up and coming leader to promote our skills to new clients and maintain our deep existing client base. Qualified candidates will have a with a technical diverse background in process piping/mechanical engineering coupled with experience supervising design teams and leading tasks on projects.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS (Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering preferred) from ABET accredited university
8+ years of relevant process piping engineering and design experience
High level design and CAD skills and technical competency in the field of mechanical and/or piping engineering
Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD Plant 3D and/or CadWorx
EIT Certification+ Able to participate in field walks and create field sketches, take dimensions, climb ladders, etc. as necessary
