This position will evaluate daily schedules to ensure staff relations and balanced workloads. The Lead PSS may assist the practice manager in the development, implementation, evaluation and enforcement of departmental, and/or clinic policies and objectives and can assist management in the investigation and resolution of complaints and problems.Other duties can include: * Coordinates departmental activities, work schedules and assignments of staff members. * In conjunction with the practice manager provides input and feedback regarding employee performance for employee performance appraisals. * Communicates with staff on an ongoing basis regarding department changes, and updates. * Works in conjunction with cashier to maintain the accuracy of charges. * Greets and registers patients. Verifies and review patient demographic and insurance information for accuracy, completeness, obtains patient signatures and scans patient insurance cards. * Enters data on any updates/changes in insurance information and demographics.
