Job Summary:

Grandview Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Operating Room Technician or Anesthesia tech to join our surgical team. The Lead Operating Room Technician will play a crucial role in the success of our surgical procedures by providing essential support to surgeons and nurses in the operating room. This position requires a commitment to maintaining a sterile and efficient environment while assisting with surgical equipment and instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises OR Room Techs.

• Ensure that the operating room is set up and ready for surgery by arranging equipment, instruments, and supplies

• Help with patient positioning, draping, and other patient care tasks as required.

• Maintain, organize, and troubleshoot surgical equipment to ensure it is in good working order.

• Follow strict sterilization procedures to maintain the cleanliness and sterility of the operating room, instruments, and equipment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred

• Completion of an accredited operating room technician program is preferred.

• Previous experience as an Operating Room Technician / Anesthesia tech or in a related healthcare role is advantageous.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
