About the Job
Looking for an experienced ambulatory/office based CA (or MA) to join a vibrant, engaged oncology team at Beverly Hospital. Must demonstrate good communication skills, demonstrate a clinical competence and knowledge, be highly organized and team player.
Responsible for working with physician and nursing teams to schedule patients in timely fashion for new referrals and diagnostic imaging; direct patient care and interactions during office visits and follow up phone calls. Interacting with patients in person and via phone; regular communications with providers as well. Assist with training of new unlicensed clinical staff for Cancer Services team.
Supervised daily by Practice nurse navigator and reports to Nurse Manager of Cancer Services. Occasional cross campus assignment (to AGH Onc clinic) are possible.
32 hours per week, day shift.

High school equivalent. Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate preferred.
Multi-skilled Associate Training: EKG, Phlebotomy, Simple Respiratory & Rehabilitative functions. BLS required within 90 days of hire.
