VIEW JOBS 4/19/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-18T00:00 Job Description Job Number: R0046568 Network Engineer The Challenge: Everyone knows security needs to be "baked in" to a system architecture, but you actually know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your Cybersecurity skills to design and build secure systems for the Department of Defense? We're looking for a network engineer who can help create solutions for the Air Force that will stand up to even the most advanced Cyber threats. As a network engineer on on our project, you'll coordinate work with internal and external Cybersecurity analysts, exercise planners, and instructional system design experts to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to design simulated Cyber training events and exercises used to train and evaluate the Air Force's Cyber Protection Team operators needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you'll research new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. On our team, you'll learn how to take a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. This is a chance to learn from a team of experts as you make a difference in the security of Cyberspace and communications systems. We help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like like endpoint security, storage provisioning, and network simulation. You'll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like network security, automation and orchestration of security events, and Cloud-based security while building peace of mind in a critical infrastructure. Join our team, as we work with the Department of Defense, United States Cyber Command, and Air Forces Cyber to improve the Cyber Protection Team and national mission team mission.
