  • Lead Mental Health Therapist at Hillsdale High School! We are delighted to offer an internal opportunity for the Lead Mental Health Therapist position at Mills High School.

    The dedicated staff at MHS is committed to equity for all students and recognizes the importance of student mental health and academic access, which is why they established a MH&W Center for their students and families. The Lead Mental Health Therapist plays a crucial role within the MHS team, overseeing various responsibilities that include: • Coordinating the multi-tiered system of support for the wellness program. • Managing day-to-day operations of mental health services. • Promoting family access to wellness and health promotion programming. • Spearheading school-wide prevention and education efforts. • Ensuring compliance with laws, codes, board policies, and regulations related to student support services. • Fostering alignment of crisis response and post-intervention procedures within the District. • Performing related work to ensure program alignment with the outcomes for student success as identified in the District's strategic plan. We value talent from within and are seeking a mental health therapist from our team who desires professional growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting the MHS therapeutic team through effective psychology practices, ready to take a leadership role in a Multidisciplinary Team, and possess strong communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.

  • Education/Training Experience: > Must possess a Master's Degree in the field of mental health plus a valid registration with the CA BBS - AMFT, MFT, ASW, LCSW, APCC, LPCC, Ph.D. > Minimum 2 years of experience as school-based mental health therapist. > Experience providing psychotherapy to children and families. > Must be eligible to register and sit for California Board of Behavioral Sciences licensing exams within two years of employment (applicable for Lead Mental Health Therapist-Associate only).
