Lead Medical Technologist

We are hiring for a LEAD medical technologist to join a GREAT Hospital system in the NYC area!

MLT Description:

• Candidate must have a NY State Medical Technologist license or Medical Laboratory Science degree.

• Minimum of 4 years experience working as a technologist in a clinical lab

• Hematology Testing

• Microbiology Testing

• SDP Bacterial Impurities Alert (procedure includes sampling and inoculation by using BPA culture bottle to detect aerobic microorganisms in blood)

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree in Medical Laboratory Science

• NYS Medical Technologist license

• ASCP certification.

• The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in Hematology, microbiology and Blood Bank. They would consider an entry level candidate

• Knowledge and understanding of immunohematology, hematology and medical terminology.

Shift:

Sunday- Wednesday, 2pm-12pm (4 10 hours shifts)

(Sunday-Thursday, 4pm-12am)

• shift differential starts after 4pm

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
