We are seeking a Lead Materials Manager Tech to provide indirect patient care and observation in an ambulatory setting. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete records concerning ordering and receiving payments in a timely and cost-effective manner.

  • Establish and maintain levels and controls of supplies and equipment for your Surgery Center

  • You will be responsible for purchases by referencing and utilizing purchase orders and verifying accuracy and completeness once orders are received

  • You will prepare goods for return and be responsible for shipment of all goods from your Surgery Center

  • Establish and maintain PAR stock levels in all areas

  • You will manage contract pricing in line with industry standards

  • You will coordinate and participate in biannual inventory procedures

  • You will process accounts payable and match billing invoices for coding and processing in conjunction with your Business Office Manager

  • Confer with your physicians and nursing staff on special products or equipment needed and initiate training where applicable

Today, we offer a state of the art facility and the newest technologies in our six operating rooms and procedure room. Performing around 325 cases a month, our specialties include general surgery, gi, pain management, ophthalmology, ent, gyn, orthopedics, plastics, podiatry, dental, urology and general interventional radiology. Qualifications you will need

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in materials management

  • Some accounting/bookkeeping experience helpful

  • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment may be required per facility standard

Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Lead Job Summary: Facilities Maintenance Lead reports to the supervisor and is responsible for addressing trouble calls and performing associated maintenance and repair activities on facilities equipment and basic and complex machines. The position assists engineers and technicians with advanced repairs. The role works under minimal supervision and some contact with external suppliers and customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist in the scheduling and planning of maintenance on equipment in the facility to support changes in production/facility systems and the installation of new equipment. * Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair simple and complex mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals and parts catalogs as necessary. * Estimates materials and/or equipment needed to complete work projects for ensuring timely completion of projects. * Inspect and assist team and associates to correct facility equipment's mechanical, plumbing, welding, and structural deficiencies (doors, walls, ceilings, roofs). * Oversees maintenance as assigned for the purpose of maximizing the efficiency of the work force and meeting requirements * Prepares documentation (e.g. requisitions, purchase orders, etc.) for the purpose of providing written support and/or conveying information. * Transports various items (e.g. tools, equipment, supplies, etc.) for ensuring the availability of materials required at job site. * Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in the completion of their work activities * Inspects facilities, systems and their components for the purpose of identifying necessary repairs * Coordinate work with outside contractors and production department supervisors to minimize production impact during projects or system repairs. * Support others departments to maintain HVAC equipment (exhaust fans, mau's, etc.) and perform associated measurements (e.g., measure PH levels, water condensations, steam pressure). * Responds to emergencies for resolving immediate safety concerns. * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED. * Must be 21 years old or older * Five (5) or more year's related experience is required. * Must possess applicable certifications, licenses and a valid driver's license. * Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. * To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
