What We're Looking For:
Education and Experience Needed:
Bachelor's degree in communication, public relations, journalism, or related field
Minimum of Six (6) - Seven (7) years of experience in a communication-related role, with demonstrated expertise in strategic communication planning and execution
Public relations experience helpful.
Preferred:
Master's degree
Background in science communication is a plus
Skills Needed:
Proven track record of successfully managing large projects or processes in marketing and communication with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to coach and mentor others effectively
Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups
Excellent problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate difficult and complex challenges
Excellent writing and editing skills involving science-based topics
