Job Description Summary

GE is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a background in metal forming and machining techniques. This individual will work closely with all facets of jet engine manufacture, from design engineering to our front line operators as they solve problems and invent the future of flight.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Technical process ownership of sector assembly

• Work cross functionally with quality and design engineers to ensure that product can be produced within acceptable yield levels.

• Teach and empower production employees in the manufacturing techniques required for greatest yield effectiveness & equipment capability.

• Team with production employees to identify and drive lean improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing) + 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
