Lead Maintenance Technician

What You'll Do:

• Lead, train and mentor all maintenance techs through direction of work and allocation of maintenance tasks.

• Acts a liaison for the manager to employees while providing administrative and technical support.

• Positively supports and creates continuous improvement initiatives.

• Creating and monitoring work assignments to ensure all facilities & equipment are properly maintained in a safe and reliable working order.

• Schedules, oversees, or performs routine preventative maintenance and repairs. Verifies final repair for quality and completes detailed documentation. Manages PM for all Facility equipment.

• Maintains and allocates all tools and supports accurate inventory of all maintenance supplies and stocking levels.

• Plans, leads, assists with on-the-job training for all skill types that are involved with the maintenance and repair of equipment and facility to include electrical circuitry, conducts and complex control components.

• Responsible for assigning and updating all maintenance work assignment records for equipment via maintenance system and follows up on progress to include hot work practices/procedures.

What We're Looking For:

• 5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience. High School Graduate required.

• Proficiency in performing general maintenance and repair. Knowledgeable of general facility maintenance/repair for electrical, plumbing and HVAC.

• Basic knowledge of power diagrams, network diagrams, and floorplans. Experience in maintaining /updating documentation a plus. Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.

• Furniture related tasks including disassembly, installs, repairs and moves.

• Possesses strong data entry skills.

• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.

• Recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.

• Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.

• Able to interact effectively with all levels of management.

• Able to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results.

• Possesses strong multi-cultural interpersonal skills.

• Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.

• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

• Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.

Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. The average annual compensation for this role is $70,000 - $80,000.
