Position Purpose

The Maintenance Lead plays a vital role in the ongoing Maintenance and Reliability effort, by not only executing the work as planned, but by providing feedback and comments for improvement. There are a variety of roles and responsibilities within this title. The types of roles available require performing troubleshooting, ensuring proper maintenance and operational status of equipment, using a variety of hand tools. Performing other duties pertaining to hydraulics and pneumatics, while making safety the number one priority. Maintenance Lead requires being able to read manuals written in English and the ability to write and document information.

Pay $23/hr and up DOE. Hours: Sun-Thurs 6am-3:30pm

Principal Accountabilities

Manufacturing Process Reliability:

  • Maintain Process and Industry Standards and Specifications

  • Identify follow-up work required

  • Acquire planned materials, tools and documentation for planned work, and work order information for reactive work.

  • Investigate job site if required - determine scope of work (reactive work)

  • Prepare work site scaffolding, safety, etc

  • Respond to interruption work from immediate supervisor.

  • Move to next job after completion or as directed by Maintenance Supervisor

  • With the Maintenance Supervisor, resolve problems as needed to perform work

  • Complete Closeout Activities including, Tool accountability / Parts reconciliation, Sanitation tagging / Notification to Production, return unused materials and tools, Functional Operations test complete

  • Complete, Sign and return hardcopy Work Order to Maintenance

  • Supervisor complete with; Work Description, Symptoms


The Maintenance Lead Person expectations are listed below, but are not limited to:

  • Prioritize and manage daily work.

  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with supervisor / management, peers and between crews

  • Support your crews.

  • Challenge in a respectful way.

  • Recognize deficiencies in skills, equipment, procedures and communication and take action

  • Provide feedback effectively and timely

  • Deal fairly with issues between EE's (conflict/people skills)

  • Daily Housekeeping

  • Meet daily to review work load / change over

  • Coach and mentor your peers

  • Review daily work orders and follow up needed.

  • Promote recognition.

  • Make recommendations and suggestions to management for improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • High School diploma or Equivalent

  • Must be able to read/write English

  • Basic computer skills

  • Basic Math skills

  • Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects

  • Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling, pounding with hammer and work in confined spaces

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

  • Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.

  • Have experience and full understanding of GMP's, SSOPs, and SOPs

  • Ability to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts

  • At least 2 years of experience in production related work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous front-line Leadership Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance experience or completed training for Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

  • Previous Cargill experience

  • Work history in the past 12 months

  • Communication skills both within and across departments

This position would serve as a lead under the leadership of the Supervisor on Duty. Responsibilities * Provide polite and courteous service to all guests. Provide information about current and upcoming events, while actively greeting and welcoming all guests into the store. * Actively engage all guests on the sales floor. Provide excellent customer service by adhering to all customer service initiatives as laid out by the Store Manager. * Actively sell and upsell products based on customer likes and needs * Learn and know the product collections that are carried in each location. Become proficient in the stock we carry to better assist all guests. * Responsible for creating and maintaining merchandising presentation throughout the store including visual presentations. Keep merchandise stocked and the store properly filled and organized throughout the shift. * Maintain general order and cleanliness of merchandise location and stockrooms. Includes cleaning windows, spot sweeping of floors, dusting of merchandise displays and emptying trashcans as needed. * Accountable for daily cash register sales and proper check in/check out procedures, adhering to Ryman Hospitality cash-handling policies. Ensure adding on to sales is done with consistency * Responsible for work of others as requested. * Provide the management team with customer comments and feedback about the merchandise, offerings and experiences at our facilities. * Report any concerns, maintenance problems, etc…to management. * Responsible for being familiar with emergency procedures and responding accordingly in emergency situations, including properly evacuating the retail location, moving all employees and guests at least 300 feet from the building, should an evacuation become necessary. * Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: * High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
