Responsibilities
Coordinate the activities of a multi-functional team to support new acquisition, sustainment, and repair program requirements.
Assign work, provide technical advice and guidance, review work, evaluate quality and provide training to team members.
Represent the team with management, higher headquarters, Department of the Army and other customers through meetings, briefings and correspondence.
Facilitate team meetings, set team goals and objectives, develop strategies, evaluate customer needs, reengineer team processes, evaluate customer satisfaction and team performance, develop plans to improve team performance and meet customer needs.
Evaluates Logistic status/readiness of assigned system(s) and takes corrective action for existing or foreseen problems.

Conditions of Employment
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing resources (OPS29, Sustainment System Technical Support (SSTS), or Obligation Plans); developing technical manuals; serving on an Integrated Product Team (IPT) during the product development or sustainment phase; and coordinating the activities of a supply and maintenance multifunctional team. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
