The Lead Leasing Professional is responsible for coordinating the communitys marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals by performing all activities related to leasing to new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease, and securing resident lease renewals.

HOW TO SUCCEED:

• Be the on-site Tour Guide, showing future residents needs, show them around your communitys amenity areas and model homes, and highlight all the benefits that will make them want to call your community home

• Brag about your communitys unique features and benefits and highlight what sets it apart from the competition

• Create added value by anticipating needs and addressing living concerns customers havent even thought about yet

• Put in extra effort to make prospective residents feel so at home, theyll never want to leave

• Optimize occupancy and increase community visits by finding new ways to boost online engagement, update promos/advertising, and create new marketing strategies

• Scout the competition to stay one step ahead and keep bringing in the big bucks

• Understand that choosing a place to live is a big decision and that each customer will have their own set of concerns and non-negotiables to work through

• Enjoy listening to peoples problems with empathy and share helpful advice

• Relate well with all types of personalities even if they seem to come from a totally different planet

• Build lasting relationships based on your ability to help residents and future residents experience what better living truly means

NUTS AND BOLTS:

• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, EXCEL, Outlook, etc.).

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills

• Detail-oriented

• Team player

• Excellent problem solving, listening and deductive reasoning skills

• Experience with lease ups/newer A product properties

Qualifications and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner

• Willing to work flexible schedule including weekends

• A sharp, professional appearance

• Must be able to walk the property which includes climbing stairs

• Able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, push, pull, reach, carry supplies and stand for extended periods of time

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Yardi or other industry software
