Job summary

As a Lead Java Full Stack Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. With a focus on front-end and back-end technologies you will contribute to the development of innovative applications that enhance user experience and drive business success. Your expertise in HTML 5 CSS3 JavaScript TypeScript Angular and Java will be crucial in delivering robust and scalable solutions.

Skills required: JavaScript, HTML 5, Angular 2 - 8, Java 8, CSS3, TypeScript, Rest API, Microservices Spring Boot, Spring MVC.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions using HTML 5 CSS3 JavaScript TypeScript Angular 2-8 and Java 8

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features

• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

• Maintain code quality organization and automation

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

• Develop and implement unit and integration tests to ensure software quality

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application remains current and competitive

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process

• Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

• Ensure compliance with project timelines and deliverables

• Document software designs and code for future reference and maintenance

Required Qualifications

• Possess a strong understanding of HTML 5 CSS3 JavaScript TypeScript Angular 2-8 and Java 8

• Demonstrate experience with Rest API Spring Boot Spring MVC and Microservices is nice to have

• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Show proficiency in developing and maintaining scalable applications

• Have strong communication and collaboration skills

• Display the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience in the Payer domain is a plus

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
