As the Lead IT Recruiter, supporting our North American Technology organization, you will provide strategic, exempt-level recruiting support and leadership for a team of talented recruiting professionals across the organization. Your years of experience will be put to use maximizing employee engagement and maintaining clear and frequent communication on every level.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Provide leadership, coaching and solution-based management for a group of talent team members to ensure that all client deliverables are met

  • Consult and collaborate with the business to ensure that recruitment objectives are aligned to the business objectives

  • Implement a standardized recruitment process across the function supported

  • Analyze staffing metrics to ensure resources are being used effectively and efficiently

  • Work in partnership with the HR, Compensation and Training partners

  • Create detailed job descriptions and optimize exposure to various online resources

  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to the client base

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or similar business-related degree

  • 6 or more years of hands on recruiting experience with 3 years of leadership experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)

  • Strong ability to proactively source technology talent in a highly-competitive market

  • Experience with a variety of recruiting tools (LinkedIn, Stackoverflow, GitHub, Entelo, and Social Media platforms, etc.)

It'd be great if you also have:

  • MBA in Human Resources Management

  • PHR Certification

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
