We have an opening for you to grow with us as a Lead IT Product Manager, Sales Technology, in our Chicago, IL, Oak Brook, IL or Battle Creek, MI location.


  • Partner with IT and the Business
  • This critical role will be the IT product owner for all solutions for our global Sales Force Automation platform. In this role, you will be working closely with global Leadership stakeholders across the organization in designing and delivering Sales Technology capabilities and driving deliverables, roadmap, strategy and TCO.
  • Deliver Sales Force Automation Projects
  • You'll deliver on the Sales Force Automation technology platform strategy by providing leadership to our project teams in the successful delivery of sales capabilities across the global Kellogg regions. Managing the Sales Force Automation platform from an IT product perspective including vendor relationships, managing upgrades, support models, and ensuring that total cost of ownership is managed and optimized effectively as the platform evolves.
  • Advanced Selling Capabilities
  • Drive our 2018/2019 Advanced Selling Capabilities project developing Promotional Compliance Alerts, Store Value Generation, Smart Routing, and Smart Technologies
  • Vendor Management & Support
  • Owning and/or influencing relationships with key vendors, representing Kellogg on customer advisory boards and influencing vendor application roadmaps. Working with the Kellogg support organization in transitioning new products/services, defining SLAs, and in developing continuous improvement plans. Developing strong expertise in retail execution systems and solutions in and out of Kellogg.

Job Description Working as part of the global Accenture Technology Marketing & Communications team, the Associate Director or Senior Manager – Salesforce and Workday Platform Marketing Lead drives the marketing and communications strategy and crafts strategic external and internal content in support of this business. The focus of the role includes using a targeted communications strategy, strong messaging and digital platforms to create a culture of believers and evangelists internally for our Salesforce and Workday Platforms to reinvigorate our business and driving our positioning externally to drive sales and support our growth goals. This includes: Strategic Planning * Develop the marketing & communications strategy to support the growth of the Salesforce and Workday Platforms working with global Marketing & Communications lead and appropriate business leadership. * Work with the industry and geographic teams, and other related teams across our business, to ensure the plan is innovative, relevant and localized, and launch sales campaigns in those areas. * Effectively team with Salesforce and Workday marketing and alliance leadership to ensure a cohesive joint marketing plan, and manage the ongoing implementation of the plan, and refresh as required. * Manage annual budget and demonstrating the ability to show strong ROI on programs. Managing all reporting across the programs. Content Development and Campaigns * Create strategic messaging, including structuring a multi-faceted message platform designed to raise perceptions of and support our Salesforce and Workday Platform businesses. * Lead internal and external marketing campaigns to evangelize our key audiences: leadership, client teams, and our people; Salesforce and Workday leadership and sales teams; clients and other external audiences, such as industry analysts. * Drive the development of market-relevant and differentiated thought leadership, developing new concepts and new content or shaping global content. * Design effective campaigns leveraging the content, for both internal and external audiences, and track effectiveness and ROI of the campaigns. Event Marketing * Possess strong executive presence and content management skills to lead our large, high profile events, such as the annual Dreamforce and Rising events, teaming with our event program lead. Sharing insights and strategic thinking around leading events with a limited budget, focusing on how to gain traction internally and with clients, and achieve the best ROI. * Ensure execution of tactics and logistics associated with the events. * Balance strategic thinking and planning with the ability to "roll up your sleeves" and provide program execution across core content areas and asset development. Social Media * Create and drive a robust social media program to ensure strong integration of digital marketing elements across all programs. Drive strong share of voice and to position our senior business leaders. Proactively seek new channels and innovative ways to share our stories to keep current of social trends. * Analyze results to gain insights and improve our overall digital marketing program. Sales Support and Relationship Management * Lead the global marketing relationship with Salesforce and Workday and execute against the marketing strategy, while orchestrating resources from Accenture, Salesforce and Workday. * Develop global campaigns that drive brand awareness and demand-generation activities in support of the platform goals, collaborating with and rallying colleagues across our team, key businesses, geographic unit and Operating Group marketing teams to ensure cross-pollination of ideas and roll out of key marketing programs and strategies across the company. * Collaborate with other business unit leadership including sales, alliances, solution management and others to develop go-to-market plans and high-performing marketing programs that are scalable, repeatable and capable of being deployed globally. * Work with industry and geographic marketing and leadership teams, establish highly effective industry- and geography-based marketing strategies. Role Requirements: * Role is expected to flex regularly between working out of Accenture office location, and working in a global, virtual environment. * Personal flexibility to travel where and when required, and to participate in virtual meetings outside of regular business hours to connect with business leaders in other time zones.
