Epic Games is searching for an experienced iOS engineering lead to support the development of new exciting iOS applications supporting Epic's player and developer platforms. In this role, you'll lead a small team that will work closely with a wide range of internal teams to build and ship a brand new Epic experience for iOS from the ground up. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of iOS best practices, an eye for architecture and maintainability, and a drive to push the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a small team of highly skilled engineers

  • Ensure the utilization of the latest mobile technology to build user-friendly high-performance mobile applications

  • Design, review, and oversee the implementation of Epic's latest endeavors in iOS

  • Performance improvement and security hardening of applications and infrastructure

  • Providing input for production/live release control process

  • Communicate technical risks across the group

Qualifications:

  • Previous leadership experience

  • Passion for building and maintaining consumer-facing mobile applications

  • Experience architecting and leading innovative mobile projects leveraging modern mobile development best practices

  • Deep knowledge of C++, Objective C, and Swift

  • Experience building a modern iOS application from scratch
