Data Management is part of AEGON Asset Management (AAM) Organization. Data Management is a fast paced environment that focuses on ensuring data, is of quality, available as needed, accurate, secure, consistent and auditable. Data Management ensures these principles exist around security master data, risk analytics, price and the creation of quality rules. Data Management is customer focused and strives to provide full transparency and understanding of data.
The Lead Investment Analyst will report to the Data Management Manager and will be responsible for ensuring quality data for Security Master and providing guidance to the Security Master Team, including the impacts to the other domains with in Data Management. This also includes assurance of meeting the customer/client needs. This role will have interactions with Portfolio Management, Trading, Operations, Information Technology, and Risk Management.

Utilize critical thinking skills and apply fundamental asset knowledge to each data domain to support critical daily and monthly processes.
Perform business analysis to determine best practices within daily production/projects.
Continuous improvement mindset, improving data quality with a focus on customer service.
Participate and set high expectations of self and the Security Master team on daily production and projects.
Provide excellent customer service to all clients and internal customers
Bachelor's degree in Finance, business or related field
8 years of related experience in financial services industry or technical analysis
Strong customer service skills to anticipate and proactively address customer needs to ensure positive outcomes
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Outstanding communication skills to address a variety of audiences including investment professionals and senior management with a variety of internal and external parties
Process improvement experience preferred, with the ability to recognize opportunities within own role.
Organizational skills to prioritize assignments with changing priorities
Proficiency using MS Office
Working knowledge of fixed income products and investment processes preferred.
Experience with Aladdin desired
Strong Excel skills
CFA Level 1 passed
Job and compensation levels depend upon an applicant's qualifications including the extent of his/her relevant experience and other job related factors and will be determined by hiring supervisors/managers and HR.
