Lead-Inventory Controller (Onsite)

Your Impact

Key team player on AXON Enterprises success. You will support the RMA team and ensure complete orders are shipped and delivered in a timely manner. You are analytical, well-organized and excels in communication.

Your Day to Day

• Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders

• Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment

• Verify orders returned in full and document discrepancies.

• Ensure all required documentation properly affixed to shipments, such as packing slips, bills of lading, etc.

• Inspect label, barcodes and other features of completed orders.

• Coordinate outbound shipments for pick-up with parcel and freight carriers as assigned.

• Ensure that the shipping processes are running smoothly and effectively.

• Resolve issues regarding shipped and returned orders.

• Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies - Dangerous Goods experience is required.

• Report to management on activities and issues.

• Accountable to assess and recommend improvements for inbound and outbound processes to improve efficiency and productivity.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment.

• Manage consumable supplies to be on hand to support daily shipments

• Provide reverse logistics support for returned orders

Basic Qualifications

• Previous shipping experience

• Solid knowledge of logistics procedures

• Excellent organization and communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Problem solving abilities

• Able to operate a forklift safely

Physical Demands

Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, carry for 8 of hours at a time; ability to lift 50 unaided; ability to ascend and descend stairs; ability to grasp and use small parts; ability to occasionally[kneel, crouch, bend as required to perform tasks

Work Environment

Within the Axon manufacturing facility, employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise, ambient temperatures, close quarters, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, exposure to vibrations and industrial lighting

Personal Protective Equipment

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided by Axon and may be required when a job task(s) is being completed in or around your assigned department or in another department, this includes but is not limited to, safety eyewear, hearing protection. Employees are required to apply ergonomic correctness to all job tasks to the fullest extent possible.

The pay: Axon's hourly pay philosophy is made up of base pay and bonus. The starting hourly pay for this role is USD 25.00 in the lowest geographic market and USD 37.50 in the highest geographic market. The actual hourly pay is dependent upon many factors such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
