Job Summary:

Bluemercury seeks a strategic, highly motivated, and results-oriented lead integration engineer responsible for the design, development, optimization, and maintenance of end-to-end system integrations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience integrating to Cloud based systems, including POS, OMS, WMS, eCommerce, Data Platforms, and ERP. The candidate will also have programming experience using Ruby and Java, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience building recipes using Workato. This role will support multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of the project lifecycle. Strong candidates should possess a proven track record working with onshore & offshore engineering teams & 3rd party IT partners, supporting production integration and working closely with enterprise architects to build modern and scalable interfaces between enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient integration solutions for various software applications and systems.

  • Lead a team of integration engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and ensuring project deadlines are met.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and 3rd party IT partners to gather integration requirements and define technical specifications.

  • Evaluate and select appropriate integration methods (API, Webhook, SFTP, etc) to meet project goals and enhance overall system interoperability.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, ensuring seamless data flow and communication between different systems.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in the integration space, making recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration processes, workflows, and configurations.

  • Implement best practices for security, performance, and reliability in integration solutions.

  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to establish and maintain API integrations.

  • Provide technical leadership in the planning and execution of integration projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years experience in enterprise systems integration with a strong preference for Workato IPaaS experience.

  • Education: A bachelor's degree is required, or equivalent industry experience.

  • Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills are a must, with the ability to effectively engage with various levels within the organization.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership and project management skills, along with the ability to cultivate robust relationships, are essential.

  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset are crucial.

  • Multi-Tasking: Capable of independently managing multiple projects, timelines, priorities, and expectations concurrently.

  • Technology: Advanced proficiency in integration methods (APIs, Webhooks, SFTP, etc). Experience coding in Java and Ruby. Experiences with Web Services (REST & SOAP) Experience with Workato iPaaS
