As a Lead Integration & Automation Engineer in R&D, you'll work on innovating safety critical code for hard real time embedded systems that support everyday life, from critical, life-saving operations to everyday tasks, like flipping a light switch.
As a Lead Integration & Automation Engineer, a typical day might include the following:
Working closely with developers, writing specifications and functional tests
Teaching and mentoring internal and external customers
Working directly with customers to troubleshoot problems with Application Engineers
Running stakeholder demonstrations and presentations
This job might be for you if you have:
Theoretical and practical experience with different communication protocols (IEC-61850, DNP, Modbus, etc.)
Hands-on experience with equipment (connecting devices to test sets, being able to connect different devices together and running communication schemes, etc.)
Experience working with product developers on software
Experience working at the systems level of distribution automation
SEL product experience
