Lead Instructor For Rigging & Ironworking

The Lead Instructor is responsible for teaching NCCER CORE, NCCER Rigging up to advanced and NCCER Ironworking up to Level 4 as assigned. Instructors will provide instruction on a schedule developed by the Workforce Development and Continuing Education Department.

The instructor will report to the Executive Director for Workforce Development and Continuing Education. They must comply with departmental policies and complete other duties as assigned.

This position is a grant funded position through Wagner-Peyser also called Texas Talent Connection. The lead instructor is a 12-month position and will end on August 31, 2025.

Minimum Qualifications

Certified NCCER instructor for CORE, Rigging & Ironworking.

Safety is of utmost importance while teaching craft skills. There are hazards presented when teaching NCCER courses.

Preferred Qualifications

NCCER Teaching experience in CORE, Rigging & Ironworking.

Work experience in rigging and ironworking.

Salary One year grant funded position: $101,400 plus benefits Work Hours 8 am
