ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
DAILY CLEANING FUNCTIONS
Performs coordinates cleaning functions in patient rooms, specialty areas, and common areas.
Develops schedules and ensures proper environmental services staff coverage by working with their immediate supervisor; plans completion of projects, ensures consistent service delivery.
Performs cleaning duties and fills in when staff shortage.
Oversees common areas, and storage areas are as clean and safe at all times.
Ensures adequate supplies, tools, materials and equipment are available.
DISTRIBUTION OF LINENS AND SUPPLIES
Assists with keeping linen room clean and orderly.
Distributes linens and supplies as needed.
Periodically inventories supplies equipment.
QUALITY ASSUREANCE / TRAINING
Assists supervisor in performing Quality Assurance inspections for review and correction of deficiencies.
Works closely with supervisor to train/re-train, recruit, retain and develop team members, fostering of culture that reflects the core values and operational policies of our department and the company.
Step in and supervise staff in the absence of supervisor.
Attend staff meetings as required.
Ensure immediate reporting of injuries and/or unsafe conditions to supervisors, to include appropriate documentation.
Assists moving furniture items and sets up rooms for meetings and special functions as needed.
Report any repairs for maintenance and complete a maintenance request
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
Must be at least 21 years old and meet all Department of Children and Families requirements for employment in a child-care facility.
Must have at least two (2) or more years of related work experience.
Experience in coordinating cleaning projects, assisting in on the job training.
Must have leadership skills and be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
