DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION The Lead Harm Reductionist serves as both a driver of the RV mobile unit along with all outreach vehicles and is tasked with providing all direct harm reduction services to participants both in the offices and during outreach. The Lead sets a positive example for those working with them, exemplifies organizational policies, and ensures team members adhere to all standards and guidelines. # POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.) Experience: Five years prior driving experience, valid license with impeccable driving record. Experience with management and preventive maintenance of large vehicles. Two years of experience in a clinical setting. Prior experience working with individuals with substance use disorder. Two years in an infection control capacity or working with clients with STI#s, HIV, Hepatitis C and TB is preferred. Willingness to attain infection control, STI, Hepatitis C, TB knowledge is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with management and staff to address, resolve, and improve working relationships. Phlebotomy experience preferred, willingness to be trained in blood draws required. Education and Training: High School diploma is required, and an Associates is preferred.# Must complete all mandatory trainings that are required by DPH and BMC. License, Certification

DRIVER - Driver#s License Other Requirements: Working knowledge of epidemiology, infectious disease, Opioid Overdose Prevention, and Syringe Services Program preferred. Proven ability to effectively collaborate with individuals/agencies, optimize outreach activities, and participate in program planning # implementation. Excellent interpersonal skills with a variety of people including participants, families, employees, physicians, and agencies required. Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative. Knowledge of federal, state, local laws, regulations, and guidelines related to STIs, HIV, Hepatitis C, TB, Opioid Overdose Prevention, and Syringe Services Programs.
