The candidate will work in a government hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) lab supporting the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program.

This position will involve data reduction and performance analysis of data generated within the lab and also comparative analysis from GMD Ground Test data and Flight Test data. The work covers operating and developing a MATLAB based analysis tool suite along with developing new standalone analysis functions supporting the end-to-end analysis of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). The selected candidate will compile analyzed findings and support/present briefings with task leads and government customers.

The candidate will also be responsible for understanding test and analysis requirements, planning and scheduling for the analysis team, and training junior and mid-level analysts.

The candidate must be a self-starter, have strong written and verbal communication skills and be capable of working in a team environment. Must possess the ability to manage personnel, have strong problem-solving skills, and interpret and comprehend analysis results. Qualifications Required skills: 20+ years of advanced experience in complex analysis Possess the ability to clearly express ideas/concepts, perform as the team lead, and be comfortable working in a multi-tasking environment Extensive knowledge of Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) and/or GMD Architectures Knowledge of HWIL architecture infrastructure including truth presentation to the element models (SHMR, signatures, environment) Knowledge of interactions between BMDS and GMD Elements and their tactical message output Familiarity with GMD Simulation (GMDSim) Familiarity with Objective Stimulation Framework (OSF) Extensive experience in MATLAB Ability to support, evaluate, analyze and develop technical briefings and data Desired knowledge:

Experience with Python, SQL or MySQL Understanding of statistics Prior data analysis experience on Ground-Based Interceptor (GBI) Understanding of Sensor radar performance and operations Educational Requirements:
BS degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics, or Bachelor's degree with demonstration of advanced experience in complex analysis.
