We are currently seeking a candidate to join our Client Marketing Team as a Lead Generation Specialist to take ownership of all lead generation efforts. The main goal of this position is to aid the sales and marketing teams in their effort to promote client media and events and enhance revenue growth and audience development.


In this role, it is important for you to work in conjunction with other marketing team members to achieve lead generation goals. This will be an individual contributor position located either out of our Gainesville, FL, McLean, VA or Alpharetta, GA office. We will provide you with real-world, on-the-job training to help you develop the sales skills and solution knowledge to be a highly successful marketing professional. Essential responsibilities and duties:

Sales enablement and lead generation (60%)

  • Create new web-based media kits using WordPress and Adobe InDesign as required by the project and at the direction of Content Marketing Specialists

  • Modify existing digital or PDF media kits, including quarterly updates, annual pull-forwards and revisions as required by the project

  • Assist Marketing Operations Specialist in maintaining data quality within CRM and other sales enablement platforms

  • Conduct online lead searches and develop lead funnels based on buyer personas developed by the marketing team

  • Obtain and format advertiser and/or member lists in Excel and distribute to content and sales teams via CRM, sales or content platforms

  • Manage competing publication subscriptions and internal communication about availability of Naylor-produced publications

Marketing automation administration (30%)

  • Maintain various automated campaigns, including annual association information updates and renewal automation

  • Act as administrator for marketing technology platforms, including but not limited to communication with vendor and staff setup

Cross-function teamwork and administration (10%)

  • Maintain internal file systems and monitor client sites for accuracy

  • Work closely with the senior marketing team members to determine specific administrative needs for each client or department initiative

  • Other administrative tasks as needed


Work experience requirements:

  • At least six months of prior marketing experience; association industry and product marketing experience is a plus

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and time-management skills; ability to oversee multiple projects at one time

  • Proficiency in a variety of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat and an interest in marketing technology

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience with B2B writing and creative preferred

  • Reputation as a relationship builder and excellent ability to work with cross-functional teams

  • Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field preferred

  • While experience in the above areas will be highly considered, it is important to note these traits will be secondary to the person with the right determination, attitude, and overall suitability
