External Job Title- Lead Functional Configuration Spec
Working closely with HR leadership, you will drive our efforts in streamlining the operations of the SuccessFactors technology. This includes improving current modules and leading efforts to roll-out additional modules.
Experience in configuring the SAP SuccessFactors system to deliver business functionality is required. This position is located in Boston, Massachusetts.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
Identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions.
Define and implement HRIS policies, procedures and best practices.
Serve in a consultative role using background and experience to design work flow processes and system configuration to leverage the value of SuccessFactors.
Analyze business processes and prepare detailed functional specifications for required development activities.
Proactively scan for and resolve any system-related issues that could impact end-user experience, data integrity, or overall end-to-end system functionality.
Willingness to cross-train other team members on SuccessFactors.
Manage HRIS vendors which includes defining SLAs and holdings vendors accountable to agreed upon SLAs.
Configuring the functional aspects of the SuccessFactors module(s) you are certified to implement.
Support production systems by troubleshooting and resolving Tier 3 issues, by working with end users and collaborating with fellow IT team members.
Allocate workload across junior team members.
Desired Skills and Experience:
BA/BS Degree or Equivalent in Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field
3+ years of experience in several, if not all, of the following SuccessFactors modules is desired: Employee Central, Recruiting, Performance & Goals, Compensation, Succession and Onboarding.
SuccessFactors certifications preferred
Familiarity with conceptual solution and platform architectures and/or fundamental programming is a plus.
Ability to self-manage key deliverables and deadlines.
Ability to initiate and maintain relationships with various areas of the business supported by the SuccessFactors product.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex information in a succinct, organized manner
Ability to analyze and convey business requirements into functional specifications and technical design documents.
Experience with testing and validation of configuration.
Strong vendor management skills.
Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.
