Lead Frontend Software Engineer

Gryps is in search of a skilled and seasoned Lead Frontend Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and enhancement of our "Deliver Platform". As a Lead Frontend Software Engineer, you will hold a pivotal role in shaping and scaling our applications. You'll be tasked with spearheading new features while also fostering a collaborative team environment. Our ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding spanning from design conceptualization to development execution, and beyond.

We're currently charting an exciting roadmap, focusing on integrating large language models, enhancing intelligence, and refining user experiences. The Deliver platform acts as the conduit for data to seamlessly reach its destination, promoting data democratization within the $10T construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Charge: Architect and craft elegant, scalable solutions using React, TypeScript, MaterialUI, and AWS Amplify to deliver exceptional user experiences on our Deliver Platform.

• Innovation Engine: Champion new features that drive business value and keep us at the forefront of the industry.

• Code Guru: Mentor junior engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and uphold high-quality code standards.

• Team Player: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Connect, Intelligence, and Data) to ensure flawless execution and synergy.

• Performance Maestro: Own application performance, uptime, and scalability, ensuring a smooth and reliable user experience.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a web developer with a deep understanding of JavaScript and React (or equivalent frameworks).

• Proven leadership: 2+ years of experience in mentoring, coaching, and providing constructive feedback to cultivate team growth and success.

• React master: Strong grasp of React features like hooks, suspense, and context.

• UX champion: Passionate about user experience (UX) and skilled in translating intuitive UI designs into functional code.

• Testing champion: Experience with thorough unit and integration testing methodologies.

Bonus Points For:

• Startup Experience: Previous involvement as a founding or early engineer in SaaS startups.

• UX/UI Rockstar: A track record of leading UI/UX initiatives to craft optimal user experiences.

• Strategic Thinker: Experience in contributing to strategy and product roadmap discussions.

• Full-Stack Fluency: Experience with server-side development (e.g., Node.js), AWS serverless services (Amplify, DynamoDB, Lambda), API development, and designing SQL or NoSQL databases.
