To serve as a leader of the Operations Control Center (OCC) to ensure the OCC serves its primary mission of managing the airlines operations to the highest degree of safety and efficiency. This includes the responsibility of driving Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), Irregular Operations (IROPS) and ensuring that the best service is provided to the customer by effectively planning and communicating.
Ensure adherence to all applicable Federal Regulations, Company Policies and any other applicable rules and regulations
Remain current and qualified as a Flight Follower for Part 121 and 135 operations
Be a proactive, critical thinker to formulate and execute plans of action for operational irregularities with management, associated company departments and Mountain Air Cargo (MAC) customers
Perform Flight Followers duties, as needed
Assign daily shift duties to the Flight Followers and monitor their duties
Ensure that Flight Followers are able to perform flight release and flight following duties, and report to the Manager, OCC any training needs
Work with the Manager, OCC to develop tools and improve department processes
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for the development and content of the Flight Follower training program
Assist in maintaining Flight Follower shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing on all shifts
Ensure flight crewmember legality with respect to flight and duty times
Ensure all company and vendor reporting is accomplished accurately and in a timely manner
Attend and/or lead department and company meetings, as assigned
Assist in executing security program duties and responsibilities

Associates Degree or equivalent work experience
Valid FAA Part 121 Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate
Previous Part 121 airline operations experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Time management skills, organization, and the ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to pass a 10- year criminal history and background check
Able to pass a DOT Drug Screen and be enrolled in the company Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
Ability to perform in a high stress and fast-paced environment, while maintaining a focus on safety
SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Work typically performed in an office environment.
Certain duties may involve moderate exposure to airport and aircraft operations.
