Could you be the full-time onsite Lead Fleet Support Engineer in New Castle, DE, US we're looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your multifaceted expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll lead the charge in enhancing the efficiency and reliability of our transport services as the Lead Fleet Support Engineer. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering groups, Amtrak control center, Operations, Transportation), develop and refine technical and communication processes for optimal fleet support, and much more.

We'll look to you for:

  • Technical and Administrative leadership for the Fleet Support group,

  • Management of group technical and behavioral development,

  • Development and management of data management functions, including defect management reporting,

  • Finalization of global processes due to project evolution, tooling evolution, and specific project agreements

  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical field,

  • Experience or understanding of technical and administrative leadership within an engineering environment,

  • Familiarity with developing and managing technical communication processes between various stakeholders,

  • Ability to manage and resolve data management issues, including defect and reliability management functions

Job Location / Time / Mobility Requirements

Eventually Alstom Fleet Support Engineers will be hosted in Amtrak's CNOC (Consolidated National Operations Center) located in Wilmington, DE. The Alstom site of record is New Castle, DE.

Current organization is based on 3 shifts for 24/7 support.

Initial months business trips are required to Alstom site Philadelphia, PA.
