To be a successful Lead Financial Analyst you will play a critical role in the Managed Services/Corp IT Finance department by providing business case and financial analysis support while working across Cerner to evaluate a variety of technology projects, RFP and deal analysis. This high-profile position requires excellent communication skills to present findings to senior leaders, strong leadership skills and financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate across Cerner at all levels. Your primary responsibilities will include; creating and maintaining financial models to develop short-term and long-term projections on both organizational and business unit levels, providing financial modeling and analysis for technology projects, RFP and deal analysis, and evaluating operational and financial impacts of ongoing business decisions and projects to ensure the ROI is on track and reflected in current forecast for risks/opportunities. Additional key functions will consist of developing meaningful management presentations and presenting findings to senior leadership, assisting in the preparation of variance explanations and partners with internal stakeholders for business case lookback process, and driving continual improvement process leveraging best practices, standardization, and automation to scale the business. You will also be expected to have the willingness to learn technical knowledge of the business model operations to better understand the business and implications of decisions, and to continually update business knowledge and leverage it across responsibilities as well as provide guidance and training to less experienced Financial Analysts.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field or equivalent work experience
At least 6 years of finance or accounting work experience
Experience developing complex business or financial models
5 years of corporate Financial Analysis and or business case development experience
Experience in supporting business strategy or technology teams
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Able to work on multiple tasks at any one time while maintaining high quality standards
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
