Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for leading in-field facilities operations and maintenance. Responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining the following systems: FMS, HVAC, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, compressors, pumps, filters, AHUs, MAHs, VFDs, RO / DI units, electrical systems, Instrument & Controls (PLC's), wastewater, water reclaim units, treatment chemicals, and any other site systems that needs attention. Serve as the acting Supervisor, responsible for shift phone, and daily scheduled work. Coordinate shift members in performing operation, repairs, maintenance or upgrades on equipment and systems. Ensure Command Center is staffed 24/7.

Participate in startup and commissioning of systems and equipment. Engage in training on new equipment
Direct and supervise vendors / contractors on repairs, maintenance or upgrades of equipment and systems
Coordinate and perform site installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance (PM)
Manage and maintain spares and consumables for various systems and site tasks
Identify quality and / or safety improvement opportunities
Support other projects as needed by leadership
Vocational, trade certification and/or relevant military experience is preferred. Degree in engineering or technology a plus or equivalent experience
Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities
Detail-oriented, positive attitude, resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities
Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and maintaining Instrument & Controls
Demonstrated proficiency operating and troubleshooting facility systems (FMS, WWT, RO/DI, Chems, Gases, HVAC, Mechanical, I&C and Electrical Systems)
Experience in safe work practices that includes OSHA, fall protection, 70E, and LOTO procedures
Able to lift up to 60 lbs., repetitive at times, work at elevations up to 50 ft
