Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician, Night Shift

We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for the Facilities infrastructure to assist in maintaining a World Class maintenance organization for Gigafactory Nevada.

• Guide and coordinate on-shift technicians

• Interact with various customers throughout the factory and guide them to appropriate avenues for addressing their needs

• Strong working knowledge of various systems and processes to include HVAC, Electrical, Structural, Plumbing, Pump alignments and Vibration testing

• Ability to train and mentor technicians in various systems and procedures

• Work with Planners and Supervisors to execute the schedule assigned to the shift

• Ability to shift and align emergent work in accordance with priorities and needs of the business

• Checking accurate completion and comments of work orders assigned and completed throughout the shift

• Must demonstrate reliability, initiative, and desire to learn

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Capable of providing constructive feedback to subordinates

• Ability to receive OSHA 30 within 4 months of hire

• Multitask and adapt to constant changing needs of department

• Required to work with and identify appropriate PPE for hazardous chemicals

• Understand blueprints and electrical schematics
