Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Preferred Functional Safety experience in Automotive Electric Vehicles
Experience of delivering / Assess Safety work products from Item definition to Safety case
Capability to negotiate supplier responsibilities through Development Interface Agreement (DIA)
Comfort in providing group and Individual training on Functional Safety
Passionate about fostering Functional Safety skills amongst his/her colleagues
Functional Safety Expert certification is an added advantage
Ability to perform HARA and define safety requirements for System, Hardware and Software level
Capability to interpret Hardware and Software design documents and perform verification analysis like eFMEA, Reliability calculations, FTA, FMEDA & FFI etc
Actively participate in product design reviews to ensure that functional safety is considered early and for the entire product lifecycle
Evaluate new functional safety concepts/ methods and assess supplier safety compliance as per ISO 26262 Requirements
Work with internal customers to support vehicle level integration and validation of safety goals
Harmonize organization-specific rules and processes to comply with the requirements of ISO 26262
Ensure that the organization has a sufficient level of skills, competencies, and qualifications according to ISO 26262
Experience in doing Assessment / Audit for the Functional Safety work products
Experience
5 to 10 years of experience required in the field of Battery Management System (BMS) in Electric Vehicles
Experience in Vehicle Control unit (VCU), Motor Control Unit (MCU) and DC-DC is added advantage
Industry Preferred
Automotive
Qualifications
BE/BTech (EEE/ ECE / CSE). MTech is an added advantage.
