The Lead Electrical Engineer demonstrates technical expertise related to electrical designs that includes analog, digital and embedded circuits. Has the experience to design and solve complex issues related to high speed transitions, layout, timing, registration and signal integrity. Able to develop product requirements, technical specifications, evaluate technical risk and provide cost estimates and schedules. This role effects the safety, quality, timeliness and cost of electrical products.
In the role of Lead Electrical Engineer, you will:
Lead and execute electrical design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned individuals and team projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures and product requirements
Provide technical leadership to personnel and cross functional teams supporting the assigned project
Implement plans, meet technical requirements of assigned components and systems
Develop action plans to respond to issues/problems
Recommend various approaches to meet the technical and program requirements
Review technical programs, designs and architectures
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of experience in analog, digital and embedded circuit design that includes schematic capture and layout
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Proven analytical and organizational ability
