Imagine, design and develop RF/Microwave communication products and systems as part of Antenna Center of Perfection (COE) in Norcross GA. You will collaborate across Honeywell Services and Connectivity teams to craft solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers for connected aircraft. You will participate in all phases of product development and will be part of a group of talented professionals whose expertise ensures the success of engineering projects and programs. You will develop and refine your engineering talents in a team-based culture by working with creative products and technologies.
You will be responsible for:
Electrical Hardware Engineering
Produce requirements, cost and schedule for electronics hardware
Design of analog or digital electrical circuits
Create schematic and parts list
PBA level detailed design, verification and qualification
Electrical Hardware Engineering
Performing and leading electrical hardware design
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to the team members as well as mentor Jr. Engineers

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Minimum 13 years electrical hardware engineering experience
Experience performing and leading electrical hardware design
Experience in Ferrite Phase Shifter Driver Design, requiring attention to switching speed, noise immunity, phase resolution and accuracy, reciprocity and repeatability.
Experience in flash memory subsystems design, (linearization and reciprocity tables): digital command interface design, power requirements specifications, power conditioning, interface PBA to driver PBA connector specification and selection
WE VALUE
Masters degrees in a relevant engineering discipline (i.e. Aerospace Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering) preferred
Strong sense of personal accountability and drive to succeed.
Owns hardware development assignments, including system trades, setting and negotiating requirements, end to end documentation, scheduling, design and analysis, build, qualification, production, and test
Experience to ensure our designs meet the industry standards of RTCA DO-160, Boeing D6 and Airbus ABD.
Proficiency with Component Engineering selection methods, Reliability and maintainability analysis, xDX Designer, MS Excel and LTSpice with demonstrated experience.
Strong team working skills with a proven ability to effectively interact and collaborate with other engineering disciplines with excellent attention to detail.
Derive effective solutions to complex electrical engineering problems on a broad, diverse portfolio of designs for our products and systems
Understands the lead designers responsibly of effective communication.
Clearly and concisely convey subtle or complex messages to a variety of audiences, both written and verbal. Speaks geek, customer, and business.
Someone who can interface with, teach, and set requirements with various system and product design teams around our global company
Capability to provide estimates for the engineering work with minimal supervision
Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up-like atmosphere
Ability to adapt to constantly changing work assignments and consistently making timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness in an ambiguous environment
