Lead Electrical And Controls Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Lead Electrical & Controls Engineer position with a client located in Geneva, NY. Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field. Will design and develop control features to ensure systems effectively meet the organization's quality standards. Will also design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacture of electrical equipment.

Pay/Salary Range $ 90-$130K.

Lead Electrical & Controls Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Lead projects related to electrical and sustainability.

• Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and implement control systems, including PLC programming, HMI design and SCADA systems.

• Develop and maintain documentation, including electrical schematics, control system diagrams, and technical specifications.

• Conduct periodic site observations and other services required by the contract service agreement.

• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, process engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical and control systems into manufacturing equipment and processes.

• Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure proper operation and maintenance of electrical and control systems.

• Develop and grow a team of automation engineers as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field is required.

• Minimum Five years' related experience.

• Experience in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMI design, and SCADA systems is required.

• Must have familiarity with Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as NEC, NFPA, and UL standards.

• Must be US Citizen
