The Lead, Digital Technology Solutions IT will support the ServiceNow platform and digital infrastructure and systems that facilitate efficient and effective IT operations. The focus of this position will be to support Sr. Leads on the identifying, designing and optimizing ServiceNow modules that enable efficiency and contribute to specific aspects of projects or operations while gaining experience.

The position requires a blend of technical skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication abilities to contribute to strategic projects within the IT function.

Core Responsibilities:

System Support and Maintenance: Provide support for ServiceNow including troubleshooting issues, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with updates or upgrades to ensure systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Work with technical resources to deliver on support, enhancement, and project deliverables.

  • Liaise with the solution delivery and enterprise architecture team to propose high-level functional solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing business processes and technology infrastructure.

  • Ensure technical best-practice standards established and followed for ServiceNow solutions.

  • Partnership with peer practices to define dependencies and prerequisites required for solution and platform success

  • Communicate, enforce, and integrate development best practices and technology standards

  • Actively reduce technical debt and drive platform standards

  • Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SOAP

  • Drive technical initiatives and sets direction for the team;

  • Defines technical design and development standards

  • Defines technical design patterns and best practices for the ServiceNow platform

  • Defines implementation methodologies and best practices

  • Proactively maintain expert knowledge and understanding of the latest ServiceNow platform and product offerings

  • Contribute to the continual improvement of Delivery processes

  • Serve as an expert in the ServiceNow platform, leading ServiceNow best practices, advancements, and innovation

  • Maintain expert knowledge of the ServiceNow platform and products

  • Perform research into technology partner or other supplier solutions

System Analysis and Integration: Analyze existing systems, processes, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and integration with new and existing technologies.

Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and documents business requirements, provide updates, and ensuring clear communication across projects.

Project Support: Support project teams in the implementation of digital technology enhancements and projects. This may involve tasks such as documentation, coordination among team members, working with partner providers, conducting UAT, scheduling meetings, and tracking project progress. Assist in the development of project estimates and the completion of a comprehensive financial model, detailing costs, savings, revenue opportunities, and the investment horizon to ensure projects deliver maximum value.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for systems, processes, and project activities. Assist in developing reports and presentations that communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Process Improvement: Identify potential opportunities for improvement based on ServiceNow capabilities and instill a spirit of continuous improvement. Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies in current systems and processes. Participate in discussions and brainstorming sessions for enhancing operations through digital technology. Research partner or vendor solutions to advise on optimal tools for integrations to meet client requirements.

Learning and Development: Continuously learn about new technologies, supply chain trends, and best practices.

Compliance and Security: Support efforts to ensure that digital systems and data handling practices comply with relevant regulations, policies, and security standards. This might involve assisting with audits, risk assessments, and implementing security measures.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Deep understanding ServiceNow (ITSM, ITOM, CMBD, HRSD, SPM, CSM) and other related platforms that support IT operations (translation plug-ins, IVR technology, etc.)

  • Familiarity with technologies such as Workday, Saviynt and their applications in IT, HR, IAM space.

  • Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and understand complex systems.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate ideas, collaborate with team members, and communicate with stakeholders.

  • Being flexible and adaptable to change is crucial in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

  • Eagerness to learn new technologies, processes, and concepts to stay relevant in the field.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships.

  • Understanding or willingness to learn about different cultures and business practices around the world to effectively work in a global environment.

  • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement, agility, and delivering tangible business results.

  • Ability and willingness to travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. This provides a foundational understanding of both technology and business operations.

  • Certifications can complement formal education and may include areas such as IT service management (e.g., ITIL), ServiceNow certifications, project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM),

  • Experience in a Digital Technology Systems Analyst role, with experience in ITIL and technology implementations is a plus.
