Starting Pay Range: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
Additional Compensation Available:Safety & Attendance Bonus, Discretionary $90/month Gas Bonus, Discretionary Year-End Bonus
SUMMARY
The Lead Maintenance Technician maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and/or rebuilds all trucks and trailers in the department as necessary. This person is also responsible for taking on duties of the Maintenance Manager in their absence.
Essential functions (Other duties may be assigned and management retains the discretion to add, delete, or change the duties at any time)
Repairs and maintains equipment as it relates to electrical, mechanical and hydraulics by methods such as: welding, fabricating, torching and painting, etc.
Maintain and repair other equipment such as cranes, forklifts, bob-cats and engines.
Works with the Operations Manager, SIRS maintenance department and/or designee to design, modify, or change equipment to work for specific functions
Ensures all monthly preventative maintenance is performed in accordance to ISO quality procedures and work instructions
Inventories and tracks all parts for in-house equipment
Maintains regular and predictable attendance
Must be able to interact in-person with peers and management for the duration of the shift
Must be able to handle high stress situations

Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or G.E.D. required
Three to five years of related experience with solid work history
Valid drivers license
Preferred Education and Experience
Skills and Abilities
Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic background; welding and torching experience required
Ability to demonstrate attention to detail
Ability to design and adjust workflows and procedures
Ability to respond to employees and customers complaints with respect and consideration
Routinely work independently and adapt to frequent delays and unexpected events
Ability to read and compose simple instructions and correspondence in the form of emails and memos
Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines, daily tasks and projects are completed on time
Knowledge of CMMS and Microsoft Suites
Ability to work overtime as required
