What to expect

Lead the transformation of our developer experience as a Lead DevOps/SRE Developer in the heart of our central DevOps tooling organization at Swift. You'll play a pivotal role in crafting end-to-end delivery pipelines, ensuring seamless promotion pipelines, deployment of infrastructure and software, and providing essential maintenance and support. With a strong focus on real zero-trust strategies, problem-solving, and a customer-oriented approach, join us on our transformative journey and bring your senior-level expertise to drive excellence.

In this role you will:

• Lead the design, development, testing, delivery, and support of end-to-end delivery pipelines.

• Design and implement advanced zero-trust deployment strategies for infrastructure and software.

• Investigate and resolve complex support requests from our developer community

• Apply problem-solving skills to optimize and automate our DevOps practices.

• Propose and Implement case avoidance initiatives to minimize support requests from our community

• Champion solutions to complex challenges, applying your senior-level problem-solving skills to optimize DevOps practices.

• Cultivate a customer-oriented mindset, understanding and exceeding the needs of internal stakeholders.

• Provide expert-level maintenance and support for deployed systems, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

What will make you successful?

Professional knowledge and expertise. An ideal candidate should have had relevant exposure to the development of highly scalable, resilient and secure DevOps solutions. Additionally, the following skills/experiences are required:

• Extensive technical expertise in Java full-stack development (MUST).

• Mastery of RHEL and Openshift platforms (MUST).

• Proven experience with Jenkins for pipeline development (MUST), Cloudbees (DESIRABLE).

• Advanced deployment automation using Ansible (MUST), Helm (DESIRABLE), ArgoCD (a PLUS).

• In-depth knowledge of observability tools: ELK stack (MUST), Kafka (DESIRABLE).

• Substantial experience in enterprise software development.

• Proven ability to build strong partnerships with internal customers and collaborate with other delivery organizations within Swift.

• Senior-level problem-solving skills, addressing complex challenges with strategic solutions.

• Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to exceeding internal stakeholders' needs.

• Extensive background in providing maintenance and support for deployed systems.

The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position in Virgina is MINIMUM 113,330.00 to MAXIMUM 210,470.00USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Our compensation packages include a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity for all employees contingent on personal and company performance.
