The Lead Developer, Consumer Technology is responsible for providing oversight of DevOps and management of the development team. They must provide a high level of support through actively developing KFC e-commerce web and mobile solutions while providing insight into UI/UX.
Develop and design integrations between our digital ordering systems, point of sale system, payment solutions and related tools to support those systems.
Develop internal applications to allow for digital orders placed through 3rd party integrations
Ensure data integrity between systems through defined integration layers
Manage pull requests and code merges
Perform code reviews
Provide innovative ideas that can be implemented with little guidance
Lead sprint planning through VSTS
Conduct weekly development, backlog grooming meetings
Progress team into true DevOps with CI/CD
Assist QA lead on automation testing preparation and hand-offs
Coordinate with Lead Architect on release effects with legacy systems (POS)
Estimate work (time and spend)
Set standards (process & development)
Routinely work with and provide support to a diverse group of stakeholders.
Create technical documentation, reporting, project plans & update project summary charts
Establish re-occurring meetings with leadership to provide regular updates
Coach individuals regularly, deliver year end performance reviews & mid year career growth discussions
