Lead Developer, Automation

Overview

Job Purpose

The New York Stock Exchange, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE) presents an opportunity for a Lead Developer Automation role which is full-time to join a team who is responsible for a state-of-the-art end to end platform tools. The job will give you an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and business in the financial sector.

This position requires technical proficiency/problem solving as well as an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support automation framework and continuous integration for multiple projects.

• Evaluate various technical solution for automation for new systems that are hybrid - on-prem and cloud.

• Design and implement Continuous Integration pipeline for unique one-of-a kind NYSE application's use cases.

• Mentor and Lead multiple teams on different frameworks that the team has setup.

Knowledge and Experience

This is a platform team and you will be given an opportunity to design, implement and lead automation frameworks for a range of tech stacks. This role requires 8+ years of automation experience.

• 8+ Experience to Lead and set up new automation framework for a system (UI and Non-UI).

• 8+ years of Python experience.

• 5+ years of experience to support and improve existing automation frameworks.

• 3+ Experience in identifying and scripting any repetitive tasks.

• 3+ years of experience to setup a Continuous Integration pipeline for a project(Jenkins/GitLab).

• 3+ years of experience in various UI Automation frameworks like playwright, Selenium, Puppeteer.

• 3+ years of experience in developing test automation of Non-UI systems like GraphQL, API, Microservices, gRPC's.

• 3+ experience in Docker

• 3+ years of experience in working in Linux.

• Knowledge of AWS, C++, Javascript, Java and Splunk is a plus.

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.

New York Base Salary Range

The expected base salary for this role if located in New York City is between 144,200 - 180,300 USD. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's incentive compensation. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual.
