Job Summary

As a Lead Developer/Analyst you willprovide technical leadership to the development staff by ensuring that applications developed for the Department of Corrections (DOC) are reliable, usable, secure, and support the Departments business needs. You will be challenged with numerous system modernization efforts. In addition, this position performs the more difficult design and development tasks to meet division goals and objectives.


Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates must clearly demonstrate all of the following qualifications in their resume.

Position requires a minimum of four (4) years of application development experience developing large applications.

Experience must include:

Microsoft technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC, Web Forms, VB.NET, C#.NET, WPF, Silverlight, Entity Framework and LINQ

Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS

A Masters degree in Information Technology or a related field substitutes for three years of experience, or a related Bachelors degree substitutes for two years, or a related Associates substitutes for one year.

Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and a criminal history verification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with LINQ, Angular 2/4, JavaScript, or Typescript

  • Experience in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Ability to analyze complex problems for computer programming.

  • Ability to communicate highly technical and complex computer information to others in nontechnical terms.

  • Develop and initiate efficient solutions.
