We have built a platform, enabling a core suite of digital solutions for some of the worlds leading insurance companies. We need your help to grow our solution in the market and continue to grow our market share as a leader in the life insurance space.

You will support the growth of Sureifys presales practice and help drive sales. You will cultivate a suite of demonstration software that will be used daily, to provide prospective insurer-customers an interactive view of what we do and who we are. Premium software experiences make or break every one of our selling opportunities, and so this role is critical to ensure we stay on the cutting edge. Your work will be on the front-lines of every prospect interaction.

Once Covid-related restrictions ease, up to 10% travel will be expected, including conferences and prospect on-sites.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Support our pre-sales efforts by deploying and maintaining a production-grade demonstration instance of our full-stack SaaS digital experience for the life insurance industry.
  • Weave together multiple front-end and back-end services, components, and APIs to simulate an end-to-end insurer environment that allows our sales team to give amazing demos of our platforms capabilities.
  • Choose, harvest, and curate new features as needed, and integrate them into the demo.
  • Work closely with Product Management to prioritize and influence the long term business and technology roadmap.
  • Own our demo roadmap and manage it over time, in concert with our sales teams needs and requirements.
Who You Are
  • Experience: four or more years experience working with a modern, full-stack enterprise business application environment.
  • Communication: were a growth-stage insurtech with huge opportunities in the next few years. Youll need to interact with development, product management, marketing and sales in order to be effective. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must. And, if youre interested, there will be opportunities to engage directly with prospective customers as well.
  • Technical: our full stack spans from database through to web and native, mobile UI. We build integrations with many third party systems and services from modern SaaS peers, to legacy mainframes. You should be comfortable writing code and manipulating source repositories in git. Experience with things like SQL, Go, REST, GraphQL, SAML, React, AWS, and Node.js are a plus, but being a generalist who can quickly pick up new things is more important than knowledge of any one tool.
  • Process: you possess strong organizational and prioritization skills. Quickly slicing through to the most important tasks and accomplishing them, as well as re-prioritizing when new business demands surface, should be something you enjoy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensure that customers have a positive in-store shopping experience by providing a key point of customer contact. * Maintain an atmosphere of superior customer service focusing on the company's mandate: great food, great food people and making it easy. * Provide customer support in various retail store operations including, processing returns, complaint resolution, sales/product questions or assistance, cashiering support and greeting customers. * Monitor customer activities in the front of the store and assist customers with check out process. Ensure that the proper staff are conducting product scans on all out-going shopping carts, matching goods against customer receipts. * Complete all incident and investigation reports and all paperwork related to audits and other shortage control programs. * Follow the procedures for notifying management of any suspicious persons or activity. * Ensure a continuing focus on increasing sales and managing shrinkage. Work with customers to ensure that they find the products they need and are made aware of all the other services available to them in the store and through the company. * Perform cash handling functions including setting up tills, counting down tills, preparing/delivering bank deposits, and getting change for cashiers as assigned. * Operate sales and cash functions in the Point of Sale (POS) in an efficient and accurate manner. Perform store opening and/or closing responsibilities and all employee tasks, as required. * Assist with food demonstrations including preparation and set-up of the demo cart/display, distribution of samples of product as per the merchandising program and perform suggestive selling. * Maintain a store culture that focuses on both initiating and supporting outside sales calls as well as creating a strong, superior service culture within the store. * Support the training of store employees and assisting as necessary and/or beneficial. * Assist in maintaining predetermined levels of shelf stock. * Assist customer with payment for company account, makes cash refunds. * Adhere to and support all policies and procedures of US Foods and help ensure that the facility is well maintained and is a safe environment for staff and customers. * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required. QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent required. Related Experience: Three (3) years experience in a retail selling or customer service. Supervisory or Lead experience preferred. Must possess the ability to work a flexible hourly schedule, which includes holidays and weekends. Must possess and demonstrate competency and proficiency with computer use and spreadsheet creation and usage, word processing, email and internet software. Must have cash handling experience. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have the desire and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service. Must possess the ability to quickly assess situations, address issues, and make solid, good business decisions.
