.As a Delivery Lead for Med Care Pharmacy, a CVS company, you will work in an exciting and fast paced environment, collaborating with all departments in the pharmacy to ensure that deliveries are made in a safe, efficient and effective manner. You will act as a liaison between the drivers and facility staff to coordinate all delivery routes, which require a strong sense of urgency. In this role, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of our customers and patients.
As a Delivery Lead, you will get to:
Scan, tote, print, and bag delivery runs at the required times to ensure delivery schedules are met.
Review activity logs, ensuring that drivers are keeping the Driver Coordinator log updated throughout the day.
Prioritize buckets on the final check pharmacy counter to improve efficiencies.
Ensure STAT and ADMIT medications reach their destination in the allotted time frame, and helping to fill and delivery any runs when needed.
Allocate runs to the drivers and report any issues to the Logistics Manager.
Develop training plan for all new drivers and provide ongoing training and coaching as needed
Complete documentation and file paperwork when appropriate.
As a Delivery Lead, you will be standing for the length of your shift. The ability to multitask, as well as good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of staff is also required.

Must possess a current and valid driver's license and meet the requirements to drive a company vehicle.
Must possess and maintain a good driving record.
Must be Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy prior to starting employment.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Previous experience using basic internet map programs such as Google Maps or MapQuest.
Experience in deliveries or project management preferred.
Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.
