Aetna's Medicare Business Intelligence Center of Excellence team supports the Medicare organization by embedding deep analytical insights into key decision processes and focusing on variety of complex business problems. We use advanced analytics, machine learning and business intelligence tools to generate actionable insights by leveraging big data within a cutting edge environment. Were focused on creating new opportunities that drive change in areas such as Medicare stars, Service Operations, Medication Adherence, Market Enablement, Population Health Management, Member Experience, DSNP (Dual Special Needs Population) and Retention

Our two Lead Data Scientists will manage and is responsible for the successful delivery of the algorithms, statistical models and reporting tools to meet business needs supporting our Medicare Stars business. Acts as the analytic team lead for large and complex projects involving multiple resources and tasks, providing individual mentoring in support of company objectives.

Opportunity can be work from home or office based depending on location. Willing to consider candidates based on your location across the US.

You will help the team develop and deliver scalable solutions across a number of value driving use cases. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of computational science skills and software engineering experience, together with good communication skills and experience of delivering analytics projects in a manufacturing environment. You will have experience of applying machine-learning and data science solutions at scale. Responsibilities * Leverage experience and domain knowledge in manufacturing processes and databases to help identify and define manufacturing analytics opportunities * Develop and deliver manufacturing related analytics projects; ensure on-time delivery of quantifiable project benefits * Collaborate with Data Operations and Manufacturing IT to identify and acquire access to necessary data * Communicate analytics results with plant management and other key Industry 4.0 stakeholders Essential Skills & Experience * Master s or PhD in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or other related technical and business fields. * 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or Analytics. Familiar with manufacturing processes and operations. Experience in industrial product manufacturing preferred * Capable of translating real-world manufacturing engineering problems into analytics formulations and interpreting analytics results with non-analytics business partners * Demonstrated track record in project development, management, and implementation * Strong collaboration and communications skills, ability to engage with both upper management and peers * Experience and interest in recent development in Data Analytics and Big Data applications in Manufacturing such as Industry 4. 0 or Industry Internet of Things (IIoT) is highly desired * Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Hive, etc * B.
