Job Description:

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. You will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. GDIT is seeking a Lead Data Analyst that is well skilled in performing data ingestion, analysis, audit and dissemination to the internal and customer teams.

HOW THE LEAD TEST ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

This role will directly support a contract for the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) customer. USTRANSCOM provides global transportation and logistics needs to the US military, defense agencies, and other Government organizations. This program will support the command's financial and operational management and close any potential auditable gaps by transforming business processes and data integration into a single system to drive transportation, financial and logistical operations for approximately 30,000+ users.

Based on the number of integrated systems and active user-base, this will be a complex system that will consolidate the planning, shipping, tracking, payment military and federal agency personnel and materiel transportation needs. Solutions and capabilities will be continuously developed, and it is the Lead Data Analyst's responsibility to ensure the data is reviewed and reported accurately for the various enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems on this program.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Lead Data Analyst will:

  • Collaborate with the government program office to define overall data management strategy and quality control processes

  • Develop solutions to collect, review, and audit complicated data issues

  • Set prioritization of data analytic workloads for the team

  • Perform data analytics and system integrations

  • Coordinate data analysis with the team and perform extraction for internal, government, and vendor partners

  • Managing, maintaining, and auditing master data files

  • Define strategy and standards in which data is collected, stored, arranged, and secured.

  • Develop tools or mechanisms for data ingestion and distribution

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Research, or related fields.

  • Required Experience:

  • 10+ years' experience managing or leading data analytics for large organizations.

  • Experience performing system analysis, system administration, and process analysis for large multi-system environments.

  • Experience in providing analytics and distribution to support contractual deliverables and SLA requirements

  • Experience performing data modeling and analytics for large scale programs

  • Required certifications or background:

  • Must be US Citizen

  • Holds one of the following certifications:

  • GSEC, SSCP, CCISO, CISM, CISSP, or GSLC

  • Security Clearance Level:

  • Holds an active Secret clearance or has the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

  • Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Able to represent GDIT in a professional manner and the possess the ability to work effectively during periods of heavy workload or pressure.

  • Ability to provide input into or create data quality management and data quality incident handling plan.

  • Preferred Skills:

  • Program or PMO experience for large programs that experienced lean methodologies or process improvement frameworks.

  • Experience performing planning and forecasting with Materials Management ERP systems with attributes like inventory, stock level, receiving and developing material resource planning strategies.

  • Holds a PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification

  • Understands transportation database management and business intelligence related tools.

  • Strong analytic background with the ability to develop reports and reporting tools.

  • Background in AI/ML capabilities to analyze address various data sets.

  • Understand fundamental project management practices including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management. Experience working on programs with Agile or EVM frameworks.

  • Familiarity/experience performing analytics with ERP and SAP tools and data.
