Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:
Responsible for providing leadership and support to counselors and support staff.
Facilitating group therapy, including preparation of materials, through research and construction of curriculum.
Carries a caseload as deemed necessary
Initiates and develops treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues, and other staff
Communicating with referral sources and company representatives regularly to strengthen relationships and address concerns/problems.
Manages client files by conducting monthly chart audits of all clinical staff to ensure proper documentation is present and all licensing regulations are met.
Facilitates and/or attends weekly treatment team meetings and participates in case consults
Conducts insurance reviews and level of care assessments as needed
Attends staff and company meetings
Participates in on-call duties for the facility to assist line staff with client behavioral and emotional needs
Listens to clients concerning all areas of treatment including assistance with the grievance process.
Responsible for training and on-going education of all clinical staff
Assists Clinical Supervisor/Program Director with clerical duties
Other duties as assigned
Technical Competencies: Strong clinical skills in D & A counseling, stages of change, motivational interviewing, CBT, relapse prevention and treatment planning. Sound knowledge of mental health treatment including proficient DSM-V knowledge. A working knowledge of HIPAA, Licensing, and CARF regulations. Knowledgeable of psychotropic medications.
